about

These forest sounds were recorded in a Provincial park named "Algonquin Park", in a trail called "Barron Canyon Trail". The drive there was far from where I lived (about 4-5 hours) but worth every minute.

It was still transitioning from winter to spring, so snow was still present there. Surprisingly, the area was also lacking any birds, apart from the odd crow I heard.

At the half way point of the trail, you reach the top of a cliff, with a river down below and another forest across from it. It get's extremely windy around the precipice. Absolutely stunning.
