During my little trip, not so far from home, I went to a place called Long Sault Conservation area to record some forest ambience. Although there was quite a few people there, for the most part I did have some solitude.

There was some birds, especially woodpeckers, making some sounds throughout these recordings. They were communicating with each other and it ended up sound pretty neat.

Luckily I was able to snag these recordings before my country imposed stricter lockdown restrictions. Hopefully I'm able to go back out there to record some more unique sounds. I'm tired of lockdown.
